Sofie Charron is a Registered Psychotherapist and has been in private practice since 2015. Her approach to therapy is humanistic and client-centered, and she believes that within every story, there is an opportunity to create or renew a sense of hope and confidence.

Sofie's approach involves dissecting the problem(s) you face, identifying helpful tools and strategies and carving out realistic, achievable goals to help you attain a better quality of life.

Claudia's approach is based in compassion, empathy, and understanding. Her aim is to provide a safe space for you to tell your story and feel heard. Together, you can work to better understand your past and become more engaged in the present so that you can build the future you want using a variety of tools and strategies to fit your needs.

Gwen holds a compassionate, non-judgmental space where you can feel heard and supported. By hearing your story, she can help you discover where you'd like to go and identify unhelpful barriers. Together you can develop tools to navigate challenges and improve your quality of life. Gwen uses an integrated approach tailored to each client that aims to effect lasting changes.

Alycia Hunte, RP (Qualifying)
Associate Psychotherapist

Areas of Competence: Children ages 4+, teens and adults. Anxiety, depression, life transitions, trauma, parenting (including separation/divorce), bullying, self-esteem and other interpersonal challenges.

Alycia's therapy style is "walking beside", you rather than a hierarchical relationship between therapist and client. You are the expert on you, and she will support you or your child in the therapy journey: exploring emotions, thought processes and life experiences. She strives to offer a nurturing environment for personal growth, creating a non-judgmental space for all her
clients. 

 

With over 2 decades of work experience in Early Childhood Education(ECE), Alycia is drawn to opportunities to collaborate with families and children. She uses play as a
therapeutic tool to build positive rapport and create a safe space for children to explore big emotions and thoughts.

Camille values the importance of healing mind, body and soul in helping her clients along their journey and improve their quality of life.

Camille's approach is intersectional, trauma-sensitive and focused on clients' strengths. Her practice is LGBTQIA+ inclusive and sensitive towards women’s issues. She uses interventions rooted in self-compassion and mindfulness.

Michaela is a Yorkville University Master's of Counselling Psychology and a dedicated professional with a humanistic approach to helping her clients.

​

Approaches: ACT, CBT, Psychodynamic, Solution-Focused Therapy.

Charron Counselling and Psychotherapy interns are supervised by Sofie Charron, RP. They offer a sliding scale as well as low cost options. Currently there is no waitlist.
